Mentoring

caravan assembly is a curated gathering of performance makers and international programmers and producers which sits within the Brighton Festival. The ambition is to encourage dialogue, exchange and collaboration. I have been working as a mentor to some of the programmed artists and arts organisations on the 2022 and 2024 editions, as well as additionally leading a workshop on international funding for the participating companies.

Providing paid mentorship to several arts professionals. Through focused sessions I provide guidance and support the career development of creative practitioners who find themselves at different stages of their career. I have worked with a variety of arts professionals, these have included Emily Labhart - Producer & Project Manager specialising in Dance of the African Diaspora, Matthew Harding - choreographer and artistic director of Urban Interface Ltd, Luisa Hinchliff - Projects Producer at the Place, Gabija Cepelyte - Dancer and Producer, Steph Be an Afropean Creative Freelance producer working in Contemporary & Hip Hop Dance Theatre, Tom Curteis - International Arts & Culture Manager and Danielle Marshall, Producer at Selina Thompson Ltd. (2021 - 24)

Another Route is an artistic fellowship that will enable a group of performance makers to embark upon a remarkable journey to internationalise their creative practice through a sensitively curated 18-month programme of events and residencies taking place across the world. I have been working Gillie Kleiman in a ‘mentoring’ capacity as part of this programme. (2023)

WeMove Hip Hop leadership programme, in which I delivered a session on ‘international connections’ (2022)
