Mentoring

caravan assembly is a curated gathering of performance makers, international programmers, and producers, embedded within the Brighton Festival. The initiative aims to foster dialogue, exchange, and collaboration. I have served as a mentor to selected artists and arts organisations featured in the 2022 and 2024 editions, while also leading a workshop on international funding for participating companies.

I provide paid mentorship to arts professionals, offering tailored guidance to help creative practitioners at different career stages navigate challenges, identify opportunities, and support their professional development. I have worked with a variety of individuals and these have included:

  • Roisin Caffrey - Production Manager IETM

  • Liliane Rebelo - Executive Director Culture and Society Cultura Inglesa in Brazil

  • Emily Labhart - Producer & Project Manager specialising in Dance of the African Diaspora,

  • Matthew Harding - choreographer and artistic director of Urban Interface Ltd,

  • Luisa Hinchliff - Projects Producer at the Place

  • Gabija Cepelyte - Dancer and Producer

  • Steph Be - Afropean Creative Freelance producer working in Contemporary & Hip Hop Dance Theatre

  • Tom Curteis - International Arts & Culture Manager

Another Route is an artistic fellowship designed to support a group of performance makers in internationalising their creative practice through a thoughtfully curated 18-month programme of events and residencies around the world. I worked alongside Gillie Kleiman in a mentoring capacity as part of this transformative programme (2023).

WeMove Hip Hop leadership programme, in which I delivered a session on ‘international connections’ (2022)
