Facilitator for two day sessions for the Festival Management Virtual Residency. This programme brings together festival activators, curator and administrators from across African for invaluable skill-building & culture exchange. The programme focuses on elevating festival management through advance training and best practices equipping festival organisers with the resources , expertise and global networks needed to thrive, fostering world-class cultural experiences that bridge cultures and inspires new narratives. Other facilitators included Julian Caddy (Festival Director of the Scarborough Fair), Ismail Mahomed (Director of UKZN’s Centre for Creatives Arts), Nike Jonah (Founder of the Pan African Creative Exchange) and Tokini Peterside (Founder of ART X Lagos) (Sep-Oct 24)

I supported the planning and delivery of Creative Europe’s Performing Gender two day event in Brussels. Performing Genders is a 3 year audience development project aimed at developing a bond between cultural professionals and their local communities in Bologna, Leeds, Ljubljana, Madrid, Marseille, ‘s-Hertogenbosch, Tilburg and Umeå using dance as a vehicle to explore ideas on gender and sexuality. The final event was an opportunity for the project partners to share learnings with the wider sector and policy makers and as part of this event I programmed sessions, facilitated an evaluation workshop and help to draft a set of policy recommendations shared at the European Parliament (Sept - Nov 23)

Collaboration coach on Okan, a new dance production by choreographers. My role was to help facilitate conversations between the key players in the collaboration on this new production. The piece started with an interview with Thomas Talawa Presto, director of Tabanka Dance, who introduced the codified system of body movement called Talawa. Akeim and Ella have collaborated with Thomas to create a duet that incorporates Salsa, Wing Chun, and other diasporic dance styles. (Oct - Nov 23)

International Touring - best practices and partnerships. In this workshop delivered as part of the Abuja Fringe, I shared thoughts and tips across building partnership across borders. Those attending were students studying Theatre & Media Arts in Nigeria. (Dec 22)

Xtrax International Touring post-Brexit: the Basics. In this practical workshop I took participants through the process of preparing for international touring in a post-Brexit world. Step by step, I covered the basics of what you need to do, from checking if you need a visa or work permit to looking at insurance, tax, and movement of goods. This workshop was aimed at outdoor artists who are at the very beginning of their international touring journey. It covered the absolute basics of what needs to be considered when preparing an international presentation in a post-Brexit landscape. (May 22)
