I delivered a workshop on how UK venues can expand their international programming for House, a venue network and touring initiative based in the South East of England. The initiative is delivered by Farnham Maltings in collaboration with a steering group of venue leaders, programmers, and producers from the region (December 2024).

I facilitated two-day sessions for the African Festival Management Residency, a programme that brings together festival activators, curators, and administrators from across Africa for invaluable skill-building and cultural exchange. The programme aims to elevate festival management through advanced training, best practices, and global networks, equipping festival organisers with the resources, expertise, and connections needed to create world-class cultural experiences that bridge cultures and inspire new narratives. Other facilitators included Julian Caddy (Festival Director of the Scarborough Fair), Ismail Mahomed (Director of UKZN’s Centre for Creative Arts), Nike Jonah (Founder of the Pan African Creative Exchange), and Tokini Peterside (Founder of ART X Lagos) (Sept – Oct 2024)

I supported the planning and delivery of Creative Europe’s Performing Gender two-day event in Brussels. Performing Gender is a 3-year audience development project designed to strengthen connections between cultural professionals and local communities in Bologna, Leeds, Ljubljana, Madrid, Marseille, ‘s-Hertogenbosch, Tilburg, and Umeå, using dance as a platform to explore themes of gender and sexuality. The final event provided an opportunity for project partners to share their learnings with the wider sector and policymakers. As part of this event, I programmed sessions, facilitated an evaluation workshop, and contributed to drafting a set of policy recommendations, which were shared at the European Parliament (Sept – Nov 2023).

Collaboration coach on Okan, a new dance production by choreographers Akeim Toussaint Buck and Ella Mesma. My role was to help facilitate conversations between the key players in the collaboration on this new production. The piece started with an interview with Thomas Talawa Presto, director of Tabanka Dance, who introduced the codified system of body movement called Talawa. Akeim and Ella have collaborated with Thomas o create a duet that incorporates Salsa, Wing Chun and other diasporic dance styles. (Oct - Nov 23)

I delivered a workshop on international touring best practices and partnerships as part of the Abuja Fringe. The session focused on building cross-border partnerships and was attended by students studying Theatre & Media Arts in Nigeria (Dec 2022).

I delivered a workshop titled Xtrax International Touring post-Brexit: The Basics. In this practical session, I guided participants through the process of preparing for international touring in a post-Brexit world. Step by step, I covered key considerations such as visas, work permits, insurance, tax, and movement of goods. The workshop was aimed at outdoor artists just beginning their international touring journey, focusing on the fundamental aspects of preparing for international presentations in a post-Brexit landscape (May 2022).

I co-delivered a workshop titled Touring to Europe with Ania Obolewicz, where we shared insights on how to continue touring across Europe post-Brexit. The workshop was hosted by Artsadmin (Sept 2021).
